A Brief History:
Pat and Patti Quill have been married 40 years and currently reside in South Carolina. They have four children, two of which are married and six grandchildren. They were originally exposed to the Caring for the Heart model of counseling through a ministry called Freedom Hills in Ohio. They attended counseling there in 1999. During the counseling they received an inner healing that became the basis for their ministry.
Pat has served as a deacon, pastor, Men’s Fraternity leader and in prison ministry. He is a partner in an HVAC and electrical contracting business from which he plans to retire in the next year.
Patti has been a stay at home mom and home schooled their four children. She has been involved in prison ministry as well. She is currently meeting with abused women both in group Bible studies and individual counseling.
How They Became Involved with Caring for the Heart:
About four years ago, Pat and Patti were asked by their local church to start meeting with couples who had troubled marriages. This ultimately led to enrolling in the Internship Program with Caring for the Heart International. They completed their internship in October 2023. They both have a strong desire to see others find the freedom that they have found through the Caring for the Heart model of counseling.
Our goal is to help each person discover their true identity and purpose in Christ, so they can walk in freedom, live in right relationship with God, and enjoy healthier relationships with others.
Mission
We are called to care for the heart. By walking with individuals as they uncover and work through emotional and spiritual struggles. We lean on God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit to bring healing, freedom, and restoration.
Vision
We depend upon the Holy Spirit to lead us in assisting you to resolve each problem. The Holy Spirit must direct, convict, and enable you in this process. We apply Biblical principles in leading you to find freedom from each problem. We do not judge you for where you are or have been, but seek to lead you to freedom. This freedom will result in experiencing God’s purpose, fulfillment, joy, and peace in a relationship with Him and others. (Galasians 5:1, John 10:10)
Jesus focused on the heart to resolve spiritual and emotional issues. Like Him, we must also accept, understand, and care for the needs of the heart. Freedom can only come as issues are dealt with at the heart level.
